However, every development has some positives also. This time too, Agra Mahotsava came in to the lime light because of many new announcements. Some of announcements are really encouraging for the tourism industry. The invitation to industrialists for investing In UP including the Agra promises a great future for the hotel industry. If this Taj city joins the development race for next century, the opportunities to grow would be unlimited to grab.

The local voices are being raised to preserve and develop local art and tourists attractions. We can expect some early announcements of programs supporting the Agra tour industry. Agra has been the prime choice among the North India tourism destinations; so, the tour operators would never want this spot to go dull. Some tour operators at New Delhi have decided to fight back with the incompetency of government officials to bring the desired results of Agra Mohotsava. In same bid, they now introduced more variety of two or one day Agra tours to suit to match every budget.

Now many North India tour operators offer Agra tours by train and mini coaches. Shares coaches are being seen as the best cost effective alternative to taxi tours. The Air conditioned mini busses are quite comfortable and safe; these take almost same time to reach Agra as was needed to reach here by car. Train tours to Agra are also good but this option needs planning much in advance. In case someone is looking for two or three day Golden Triangle kind of package, then it may be a fantastic choice.
